Software: Unreal Engine 5.1 (Blueprint)
Key Features:
- Created an interactive NPC dialogue system that uses data assets to make it easy to add new characters and interactions
- Created the game modes to handle transitions between levels and tracking the players progress
- Created an 'Eagle Vision' style mechanic for the player to use to find clues
- Created puzzles for the player to complete such as a sentence ordering puzzle
- Created a handful of UI widgets to display information to the player such as popups and a collected page counter

This project was also an assignment for my Masters degree but this time the focus was on collaborating with peers on two separate 6 week projects. This was the first project I worked on.

For this project I worked in a team of 11 people alongside 1 other technical designer so as you can imagine I was responsible for a lot of the games core systems. I went from creating the players basic movement to making an NPC dialogue system, creating level transitions, making interactable objects that worked with our established interact system, creating UI systems and a lot of bug fixing and polishing.
