This project was part of an assignment for my Masters degree where the focus was on designing and prototyping both a unique weapon and a unique vehicle. My weapon was heavily inspired by Captain America's shield and also the High Fidelity weapon from Sunset Overdrive.
My weapon is a claw gun that fires a disc made of pure energy. The player is able to charge the weapon 3 times by holding down the fire button, and as the charge level increases the damage amount dealt by the disc drops but the number of bounces increases.

The vehicle I designed is a drone controlled using physics. The drone has 4 hover components that line trace towards the ground and add an appropriate amount of force for the drone to hover. The drone can also shoot a shield projectile that can trap enemies.

I used two separate Synty Store asset packs for the environment assets and enemies.
